Arrested 39 drug traffickers and 11 accused of possessing unlicensed weapons in Giza

The General Administration of Giza Investigations managed to arrest 39 accused of trafficking in narcotics during a security campaign targeting several criminal locations throughout the province. They had 1040 g of hashish, 616 psychedelic tablets, 229 g of heroin, 15 g of opium and 610 g of estrox.
Detainees also arrested 10 suspects with firearms and 11 rounds without a permit, and the defendants admitted possession of weapons for the purpose of defense.
Legal proceedings were taken against the accused, and Major-General Reda al-Omda, director of the General Department of Giza Investigations, was notified.
