The wolf was mentioned in the Holy Quran through the story of Prophet Yusuf, peace be upon him, where Joseph was the youngest son of Jacob. Peace be upon him. From him until they possess the heart of their father.

"The only solution is to take him and throw him in a faraway land that nobody knows about. We let him die of starvation or eat wolves, but one of his brothers objected to this and said, 'We will not get rid of him, but we will throw him in the well.' A passerby may hear his screams and save him.

They took with them Joseph peace be upon him in the desert desert, then threw him by force in the well, and slaughtered one of the sheep and smeared Joseph's shirt until Jacob believed that the wolf had eaten.

And the brothers returned and they made crying and said to their father that the wolf had eaten Joseph, and Jacob cried of grief and lost his sight. . But there was a commercial convoy on its way to Egypt that saved Yusuf peace be upon him from the well.
