Ambassador of Finland discusses joint cooperation in the development of education with Egypt

Laura Cancicas Debres, Finland's ambassador to Cairo, discussed several issues
Topics related to projects of cooperation between Egypt and Finland in the framework of plans for the development of education.

Finland is one of the best countries in the field of education, and it occupies advanced positions in international classifications in relation to the study of science and mathematics.

For her part, Laura Kancikas Debres praised the educational development process that is taking place in Egypt in the current period, pointing out that Finland is also witnessing this year for the first time the baccalaureate exam electronically to the number of 100 thousand students, and that there were some problems at the beginning of the experiment but it was overcome.

The Ambassador of Finland expressed her desire to strengthen the relationship between the two countries, support their partnership in the field of education and provide full support for the development of the education system, according to priorities set by the political leadership.

During the meeting, the two sides also discussed means of cooperation in the field of education development and exchanging experiences to support the project of developing the educational process to connect students with the skills required for the labor market.
