Al-Shorbagi qualified for the semi-final and Noor Al-Sherbini came out of the British Championship
Egyptian champion Mohammed Al-Shorbagi, the world number two for squash men, qualified for the semi-finals of the British Open, which will be hosted by England from May 20 to 26.
In the quarterfinals, Al-Shorbagi beat Colombia's Miguel Rodriguez 3-0 in a 43-minute match.
Noor Sherbini, the world number two, called the tournament in the quarterfinals after losing to Sarah Jan Berry 3-0 in a 49-minute match.
The British Open Squash Championship is the oldest and most important tournament in the history of the game. It is classified in the category of Platinum Tournaments according to the classification of the International Squash Federation [PSA].
