Activation of the Egyptian-Egyptian Business Council to increase trade exchange

The Ministry of Commerce and Industry stressed the importance of activating the Egyptian-Egyptian Business Council to play a role in pushing forward joint investments and developing trade exchange between the two countries, in light of the restructuring of the Council, within the framework of the Ministry's policy to inject new blood capable of enhancing joint cooperation with the UAE side at the commercial and investment levels. For his part, Eng. Hossam Farid, Advisor to the Minister of Trade and Industry for Small and Medium Enterprises, referred to Egypt's aspiration to achieve a distinguished participation in the Expo 2020, especially since the exhibition will be the largest in history since the establishment of the Expo 40 years ago. He added that the exhibition is expected to witness a strong demand next year, which will receive about 25 million visitors and more than 200 participations from countries, companies and academic institutions.

Gamal Al-Sadat, head of the Egyptian side of the Egyptian-Egyptian Business Council, stressed the importance of exerting more efforts by the government and the Egyptian business community to enhance trade and investment relations between Egypt and the UAE.
