A police officer was acquitted of the charge of killing demonstrators in Giza

The Department 30 of the Criminal Court of Cairo, Sunday, under the chairmanship of Counselor Mohammed Saeed Al-Sherbini, held in the complex of the courts of Tura, acquitted the police secretary Farid Shawqi in accusing him and others of killing the demonstrators on 28 and 29 January 2011.
The judgment was issued under the chairmanship of Counselor Mohammed Saeed Al-Sherbini, and the membership of Counselors Wajdi Abdel Moneim, Dr. Ali Amara, and Secretary Ahmed Mustafa.
In 2012, the Giza Criminal Court sentenced between 10 years imprisonment and 10 years imprisonment for the murder of demonstrators in Giza during the January 2011 events.
