A free clothing distribution exhibition in Fayoum
The Orman Association, under the patronage of Major General Essam Saad, Governor of El Fayoum, organized Monday at Al-Hajar village, Atsa, Fayoum Governorate, an exhibition of ready-made clothes to distribute to needy families free of charge.
Major General Mamdouh Shaaban, Director General of the association, said that the exhibition included the distribution of 1000 new clothes free of charge to nearly 300 families from the most needy families, and that the clothes were distributed to the people according to their needs.
Shaaban pointed out that the exhibition comes within the framework of the continuous efforts of Orman to support the non-able segments of the villages and the towns and villages of Fayoum governorate and that the society in providing its humanitarian services gives attention to the most caring families and that the beneficiaries of these exhibitions are the widows, divorcees, orphans and limited income.
Shaaban pointed out that the most deserving cases are identified through field research to reach the target groups in cooperation with the Directorate of Social Solidarity, pointing out that such exhibitions contribute effectively to alleviate the suffering of these families, stressing the solidarity of all executive bodies in the governorate and civil society institutions In order to improve the standard of living of these families.
Major General Mamdouh Shaaban pointed out that the society is implementing an integrated plan to distribute Karatin food items to needy families in Najwa, villages and cities in Fayoum governorate, where 24,000 cartons of food will be distributed until the distribution ends in the middle third of Ramadan.
