A collective decline in the stock market indexes ended with the pressure of sales of foreign institutions

The Egyptian Stock Exchange ended Thursday's session with a collective decline of all indicators under selling pressures from foreign institutions. The market capitalization declined by 6.8 billion pounds to close at 748.948 billion pounds.

The volume of trading on the shares amounted to 78 million securities worth 399 million pounds, through the implementation of 13.4 thousand transactions for 170 companies, the transactions of Egyptians 56.5% of the total transactions, while foreigners accounted for 36.53%, and Arabs at 6.97% during today's trading session, and acquired Institutions accounted for 55.93% of the transactions on the stock exchange. The rest of the transactions were for individuals at 44.06%.

Foreign investors netted EGP 40.6 million worth of transactions, while Egyptian, Arab, foreign and Egyptian and Arab investors netted EGP 5.1 million, EGP 14.4 million, EGP 3.6 million, EGP 14.6 million and EGP 2.9 million respectively.

The EGX30 index declined by 1.08% to close at 13659 points. The EGX 50 index fell 1.12% to close at 2053 points. The EGX 30 index of weights decreased by 0.99% to close at 16910 points.

On the other hand, the EGX70 index declined by 1.06% to close at 608 points. The EGX 100 index shed 1.11% to close at 1546 points. The Nile index fell 0.27% to close at 457 points.

Shares of 28 listed companies closed at the close of trading, and 101 companies declined, and 41 companies remained unchanged.
