The General Authority for Investment and Free Zones [GAFI] revealed that the value of investments in Damietta Public Free Zone, adjacent to Damietta Port, increased to about 300 million dollars.

A source in the Investment Authority, for the "seventh day", the Damietta area of ​​promising areas, which provide about 4 thousand jobs, through 23 projects located in many industries, including engineering, spinning, weaving, clothing, carpet and pharmaceutical industries.

The source pointed out that the factories built on an area of ​​190 acres, next to the port of East Damietta, pointing out that the annual exports amounted to about 200 million dollars last year.
