3 wounded in a gunfight in the village of Shoraniya Sohag
Nagaa al-Salam, a village of Al-Shoraniya district of Al-Maragha district, north of Sohag governorate, witnessed clashes involving firearms. Three people were injured by separate bullets in the body. One of the injured was detained at Al-Maragha Central Hospital and 2 were referred to the General Hospital for treatment.
Major General Hisham El Shafei, Sohag Security Director, received a report from Al Maragha Police Station stating that there had been a quarrel, shooting and wounded.
In the examination, the investigation revealed a quarrel between Beit Haridi and Beit Abdel Majid in Nagaa Al Salam neighborhood in Shuraniya village. The shooting was fired from the weapons they were in. The incident resulted in the injury of HHA, 22 years old, with a gunshot wound. 20 years old, with a gunshot wound, and "WAM" 21 years old, was shot by the knee and transferred from Al Maragha Central Hospital to the General Hospital for treatment.
A security cordon was established in the area, the two sides of the quarrel were separated, and the case was being edited in preparation for the presentation to the Public Prosecutor's Office for investigation.
