The country's strategy for digital transformation includes several giant national projects based on technology support and attracting investments, foremost of which is the Knowledge City project in the new administrative capital, with a total area of ​​211 acres.

The project aims to create an integrated environment that supports the growth of the ICT sector in Egypt through three main axes:

1 – building of man:

The first phase of the project will play this role through the ICT Institute, which will provide training programs in advanced fields such as AI, data science, etc., and to emphasize the importance of creating a digital society. For persons with disabilities in the first stage as well.

2. Support innovation and entrepreneurship:

The first phase of the city's innovation building is set to be an outlet for technological innovation to encourage young people and startups to create innovative solutions in emerging technologies such as enhanced reality, smart cities, Internet and AI.

3. Attracting investments and creating jobs:

The aim of the city is to attract leading global ICT companies to work within the city, creating jobs for young people as well as attracting companies to invest in Egypt by establishing centers of excellence and data centers.
