The start of the Ramadan Umrah season for the year 1440 AH, where companies started to travel the pilgrims to the Holy Land, and is scheduled to travel 100 thousand Egyptian pilgrims during the holy month in accordance with the controls of the Ministry of Tourism, amid tight control by the Ministry and the Chamber of companies to monitor any irregularities by companies implementing programs Umrah , Or issuance of electronic visas without reference to the Ministry of Tourism.

The Chamber of Tourism Companies, in cooperation with the Supreme Committee for Hajj and Umrah, sent committees to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia immediately to monitor violations by tourism companies, which resorted to issuing electronic visas in violation of the procedures adopted by the Ministry of Tourism, as well as to follow the conditions of pilgrims around the clock.

The chamber coordinated with the National Omrah Committee in Saudi Arabia to inform the Saudi agents contracted with the Egyptian companies violating all responsibility for the Egyptian pilgrims inside the Saudi territories as well as the prohibition of dealing with them in the Egyptian market.

It is also in coordination with the concerned authorities to obtain all data for the number of pilgrims performing through each Egyptian tourist company and the date of travel and return of pilgrims, to know who exceeded the authorized numbers or who deported the number of the month of Sha'baan to the month of Ramadan, or evade payment of fees to take All punitive measures against them.

In the event of monitoring irregularities, all the services provided by the Chamber to tourist companies that violate or contravene the Umrah regulations and the new resolutions attached to it for the 1440H season will be suspended, as well as the cooperating companies and all tourist companies related to the violation.

The Chamber of Tourism Companies issued a memorandum to the Ministry of Tourism requesting the cancellation of the membership of 18 tourist companies from the membership of the Chamber and the Federation in accordance with the provisions of Law No. 83 of 1968 issued on the Federation of Tourist Chambers, for violating the regulations of Umrah 1440 Hijri and issuance of electronic visas without reference to the Ministry of Tourism.
