10 years imprisonment for a woman who killed her daughter in Sohag
The Sohag Criminal Court sentenced 29-year-old Nadia Mk, a housewife to 10 years in prison, for murdering her daughter, Farahahi, after beating her to discipline her until she died in Tahta district.
The judgment was issued under the chairmanship of Counselor Osman Mohammadine and the membership of the advisors Osama Saleh Arafa, Abdulsalam Nabih Abdul Salam, the secretariat of Abdel Monsef Ibrahim and Mohamed Abdel Hamid.
The events of the incident date back to 2018 in the district of Tahta, when the head of Tahta Police Investigation Department received a statement about the death of the wounded child as a result of the beating and the body was taken to the hospital.
After the legalization of the proceedings, the investigation revealed that the crime was committed by her mother. The girl was always absent from the house on the street and the neighbors' houses, and she beat her to discipline her until she breathed her last breath and was arrested and confronted.
