The Arab Publishers Union, headed by publisher Mohammad Rashad, addressed all the members of the Federation for not rushing and registering at the Jeddah exhibition, until the exhibition responds to the demands of the union, which ultimately is in the interest of the publishers.

The Federation of Arab Publishers in the official speech of all members said that it sent a formal letter to the organizers of the Jeddah Book Fair, following the latter's address to the union. He called for the exhibition to be included in the international exhibitions list and to announce the opening date of the exhibition on December 4 to 14 of the same month.

At the request of the organizers of the Jeddah Fair, the Federation addressed the exhibition with an official letter demanding several items to be activated. The plan is to reduce the price per square meter, which is 200 US dollars, to cancel the fees of the authorized agencies 500 Saudi riyals, and to allow the publishers to pay the rent during the exhibition, 25%, and coordination with the Union For the participants in the exhibition the Federation reviewed the lists of participants to prevent forgers.
