Major General Qassem Hussein, Governor of Minya, witnessed the start of work on a number of units of Egypt Street, which was carried out by the governorate on the Corniche of the Nile at the entrance of Damares in Minya city. The Governor congratulated the young people on opening their own projects, stressing that this project is a starting point for setting up various activities that open doors of livelihood for young people and create more jobs for the people of the city, hoping that their projects will be a starting point for realizing their dreams.

The governor added that the project comes within the framework of implementing the duties of the President of the Republic to support young graduates and provide them with the necessary means to enable them to implement and set up their small projects with a new civilized vision that is organized and disciplined.

The governor also inspected the places allocated to the citizens on the Nile Corniche and continued the aesthetic dimension and civilization after the development work as well as easy to move and shopping for citizens.

The governor also listened to the citizens' opinions and their impression of the beginning of the work in the project of Egypt Street and the waiting places, where a number of citizens expressed their satisfaction with the aesthetic and urban form of the region and the extent of excellence of existing projects in terms of quality and cleanliness.

The governorate has completed the implementation of the units of Misr Street, where the area adjacent to the Corniche has been developed with the entrance of Damares. The street is dedicated to pedestrians only, so that it contains a number of shops that vary in terms of space. The street is allocated for a variety of commercial activities.
