Amr Moussa: Cairo International Biennale expresses freedom and opens minds

Amr Moussa, Secretary-General of the League of Arab States, expressed his happiness at the return of the Cairo International Biennale for Arts after an eight-year break, stressing that the Biennial reflects the return of the Egyptian spirit.

In his special remarks to "Seventh Day", Amr Moussa said during his attendance at the opening ceremony of the Cairo International Art Biennale at the Palace of the Arts at the Opera House that the artistic performances in the biennale open minds in order to look at the ideas of artists from around the world.

Amr Moussa pointed out that the ideas of the Cairo International Biennale for Arts reflect the freedom that is the basis of everything.

In the same context, the artist Farouk Hosni, the former Minister of Culture, said that the return of the Cairo International Biennale for Life after an interruption of 8 years is a message to the whole world, confirming that Egypt is fine.

Farouk Hosni, in a special statement for "the seventh day," that the Biennial, which hosts 80 artists from 50 countries indicates that Egypt is fine and can receive all countries.

Farouk Hosny pointed out that the Cairo International Biennial illustrates the value of plastic arts and its impact. Therefore, Al-Alfin is the largest ambassador of any country. He said he is happy to return the Biennial in its new style, in addition to being well supported by the state.

The Cairo International Biennial for Art is attended by 80 artists from 50 countries from all over the world. The Biennale is held in three artistic sites, the Palais des Arts, the Museum of Modern Art and the Arts Complex at Aicha Fahmy Palace.
