As part of the continuous follow-up to the final arrangements for the start of the African Cup of Nations Cup in its 32nd edition in Egypt from 21 June to 19 July 2019, the Prime Minister, Dr. Mustapha Madbouli,.
Nader Saad, the official spokesman of the Council of Ministers, said that the visit is aimed at identifying all the equipment for the Cairo Stadium, which will witness the opening ceremony of the African Championship and the opening match, which will bring together our national team with his Zimbabwean counterpart on the evening of June 21. The national team, where the Prime Minister toured the various parts of the stadium, and also inspected the state of roads leading to it, which has been completed.
The prime minister added that the development and efficiency measures carried out at the Cairo Stadium, which included all its components, have been completed and Madbouli stressed his appreciation for the efforts being exerted in this period by the various elements of the work and the responsible bodies, pointing out that this tournament is a golden opportunity to show the ability Egypt is keen on organizing and preparing, achieving achievement in record time, which is not new to this country. It also looks forward to the tournament being a positive boost for the sport of Egyptian football thanks to the development of the Egyptian stadiums and the provision of equipment at the highest level.
Medbouli stressed the need to conduct the necessary experiments to light the stadium and electronic screens, with the need to pay attention to the work of coordinating the site throughout the stadium.
