Awqaf collects 3 million pounds sukuk and 3 provinces in the forefront of activity
The Ministry of Awqaf announced the most active governorates in the sukuk project during the month of Ramadan 1440H, where the Directorate of the Awqaf of Cairo collected: 330 instruments, the Directorate of Awqaf al-Gharbia: 311 instruments, the directorate of the lake endowments: 118 bags,.
For its part, the Ministry of Awqaf decided to pay a reward to the Directorate of Awqaf al-Gharbiyya for twenty thousand pounds, such as Cairo Governorate, and distributed in the same way. The total amount collected during the month of Ramadan to date reached about LE 3 million .
The Awqaf aims to collect sukuk instruments in the amount of 100 million pounds, within the system of collecting 150 million pounds sukuk within four years, stressing that the project aims to revive the year of sacrifice and put it in the right place in the hands of the actual beneficiaries, taking into account all its legitimate controls, So far, more than 1.5 million families have benefited from it in the first year more than 350 thousand families – in the second year more than half a million families, and in the third year (last) 678 thousand families .
Awqaf stressed that the sacrifice is complete from the sacrifice to the poor and the needy, where there are no administrative and advertising expenses, stressing its keenness to provide the service with dignity and dignity to the deserving, and we believe that this is their right, and serve us with the honor and duty legitimate,.

The Awqaf decided to pay a reward of (50,000 pounds) to the highest directorates of the Awqaf to collect the sacrificial instruments from the ministry's own resources, in order to motivate the Waqf employees to make the utmost effort in the Sukuk Al-Adhahi project.
Awqaf said that the amounts paid to employees from their own funds, without prejudice to the amounts of the instruments that go to the full of the beneficiaries of the most-favored families, to be distributed as a reward for those who make a prominent effort in the project .
