"Alien Bitani tethered" .. 30 poetry poem for the Iraqi Donia Mikhail

culture

A collection of poetry by the Iraqi poet Donya Mikhail was published in Beirut under the title "Alien Baitan Al-Mabrout", located in 128 pages of the medium pieces.

The group included (30) a new poetic text in which the poet addressed modern human subjects in a clear and transparent language. The texts also included expressive layouts in the poet's poem: "Recitation of the Sumerian spirit and the attempts of the old man to express the absence of words."

It is interesting to note that the book was largely concerned with the crushed women around the world and their dire conditions and the violence, exclusion and discrimination in the texts of "Gypsy", "three women", "grave of my grandmother" and others, which earned him privacy. The book also dominated the atmosphere of war, exile, death, immigration and homelessness, the themes that did not leave the world of poetess who left Iraq to exile and its roots after it was established as one of the prominent poetic names in the 80's poetry generation in Iraq.

The alien is tethered

"From the atmosphere of the group we read the text" at the edge of a mass grave "

He was asleep on his side

As he always does

Only his bones are prominent

Can be calculated

Surrounded by friends

As usual

Except that they are dead

Quite calm

Indifferent to his wounds

Just as he was a child

Only he will never grow up

Close to each other

Such as two adjacent trees

They were leaning on their backs

But now they are speechless

Over the mass grave

The sun infiltrates the clouds

like every time

Only today they light up more death.
