The Cairo International Biennale of Art opened its 13th session this evening at the Palace of the Arts at the Opera House after an eight-year hiatus. This comes in the context of striving for the return of the suspended international events, which will confirm Egypt's cultural role and leadership which was and remains one of its main pillars. Important and influential at the regional and international levels.

The opening ceremony was attended by: Farouk Hosny, Dr. Khaled Sorour, Head of the Fine Arts Sector, Ihab Al-Labban, General Manager of the Cairo Biennale, Dalia Mustafa, Head of the Central Administration of Arts Centers, Ahmed Abdel Fattah, The Fine Arts College, the Fine Artist Mohamed Abla and the artist Madeleine Tabar.

The Cairo International Biennale for the Arts includes various types of plastic arts: sculpture, photography, photography, video, composite works, sculpture.

It is worth mentioning that 80 artists from 50 countries from all over the world will participate in the biennial. The biennial will be exhibited in three artistic sites: the Palace of Arts, the Museum of Modern Art at the Opera, and the Zamalek Art Complex.
