Saudi Aramco is offering to buy a stake in the LNG project in the North Pole

Saudi Aramco has offered to join the Russian gas company Novatek in the LNG project in the Arctic, Saudi Energy Minister Khalid Al-Falih said on Monday, and he hoped Novatech would agree to Aramco's offer.
Al-Falih Lattas said in an interview that Aramco is also considering LNG projects for Russian giants Rosneft and Gazprom and that it may be interested in investing in Russia's Cibor Petrochemical Company.
Saudi Energy Minister Khalid al-Faleh said Russia was the only remaining oil exporter that had not yet decided on the need to extend the global production agreement between OPEC and its allies until the end of the year, the TAS news agency reported on Monday.
Al-Falih said from Moscow on Monday that he and his Russian counterpart Alexander Novak may have a last chance to discuss the agreement this month at the G20 meeting in Japan before OPEC and its allies hold a meeting on production policy in Vienna.
