Tourism organizes joint event with Spain on World Tourism Day to stimulate movement between the two countries
The Ministry of Tourism and the Spanish Embassy agreed to organize a number of events that will activate the inter-movement between Cairo and Madrid, where the two sides will organize a joint event on the World Tourism Day which falls in September each year.
Each year, the Ministry of Tourism organizes a celebration in line with the logo launched by the World Tourism Organization each year. Last year's slogan was the digital transformation and technological innovation in tourism.
The Ministry of Tourism, in cooperation with the Spanish Embassy in Cairo, will organize guided tours Fam Trips, To tour operators and specialists in the tourism sector in Egypt to view the tourist destinations and the promising investment opportunities in the sector, within the framework of Spanish support for Egypt at the political and economic level.
Dr. Rania Al Mashat, Minister of Tourism, met with the Spanish ambassador to Cairo, Ramon Gilles Cassares. The meeting touched on some proposals to increase tourism between Egypt and Spain and to establish joint Egyptian-Spanish cultural events.
