The delegation of health supervision visits Port Said hospitals to evaluate them before applying health insurance
A delegation from the Accreditation and Health Control Authority is currently visiting a number of hospitals scheduled to perform the new comprehensive health insurance services in Port Said governorate to evaluate them before starting the registration and accreditation process and to exercise the means of monitoring their activities to ensure that they perform good services for citizens.
The delegation is headed by Dr. Islam Abu Yousif, Vice President of the Accreditation and Health Supervision Authority, which confirmed that the Authority is one of the bodies of the new comprehensive health insurance system. It aims to guarantee the quality and continuous improvement of health services according to specific standards of quality and accreditation. Improve its quality.
He continued: "Our role is to supervise and control all medical facilities and members of the medical professions working in the medical and health services sector, with the establishment of quality standards for health services, in addition to the adoption of quality standards on medical care facilities as well as accreditation and registration of medical facilities that meet the quality standards.
The period of accreditation and registration shall be four years renewable for other similar periods under the same conditions. The periodic inspection shall be carried out on the approved and registered establishments to work in this system with the suspension or cancellation of the accreditation and registration if the medical establishment violates any of the accreditation and registration requirements.
