Study .. Quick Step owners live longer
A recent scientific study has been conducted by US researchers from the National Center for Health Research (NIHR) In Leicester, fast-track owners live longer.
According to the US medical site "MedicalXpress", The research was found using data from the Health Bank Biobank Britain, which has 474,199 people recruited within Britain, said people with fast walking had a long lifespan at all levels of weight – from underweight to obesity.
Individuals with low weight and slow walking were lower in life expectancy (average of 64.8 years for men, 72.4 years for women).

This is the first time that research has been linked to the pace of rapid walking with average age regardless of the body weight of the person or the status of obesity.
"Our results can help explain the relative importance of fitness compared to body weight over the life expectancy of individuals," said Professor Tom Yates, professor of physical activity, behavior and health at Leicester University and lead author of the study.

In other words, the results suggest that fitness may be a better indicator of life expectancy and not related to body mass index, and that encouraging people to walk fast may add years to their lives.
