Strengthening civil protection in Cairo with two modern vehicles for high buildings
Cairo security director, Civil Protection Department, supported two modern fire trucks, to facilitate the work of the Department and enable it to deal with high buildings and carry out fire and rescue work easily and easily.
The new additions to the Civil Protection Department included a vehicle with a hydraulic platform for fire and rescue purposes in buildings up to 55 meters in addition to a 500 kg rescue basket, a 3,000-liter remote controlled overhead booster, Operation and rescue vehicle equipped with video camera and thermal camera, electric generator to illuminate the searchlights, electrical rescue equipment and emergency operation of the case of the failure of the basic hydraulic system.
The car works through hydraulic stabilizer pillars that ensure its stability during operation, and can be set at different distances so that it can operate on narrow streets .It calculates all the elements of risk, from wind speed and load in the basket and the extension of the pillars, and translated into the parameters of the horizontal and vertical extension.
The second vehicle, which was received by the Department under the new support of the Cairo Security Directorate, is a car with a 15-ton water tank, locally manufactured in cooperation with a foreign company. It is equipped with a fire pump on both sides, 60 meters away.
