Mohamed Salah, the star of the Egyptian team and the Liverpool club, has succeeded in equating three English Premier League stars with the Golden Boot award for the current edition of the Premiership with Senegalese player Sadio Mani and Gabon's Obamyang.

Mohamed Salah won the Golden Boot award for the English Premier League for the second consecutive season to repeat Michael Owen's 1997-98, 1998-99 and Robin van Persie in the 2011-2012, 2012-2013 and Harry Kane seasons of 2015 – 2016, 2016-2017.

Mohamed Salah scored 22 goals in the current edition of the English Premier League, the same as Senegal's Sadio Mani and Arsenal's Gabouni Obamyang.

Sadio Mani scored two goals in Liverpool's 2-0 win over Wolverhampton, while Obamyang scored two goals in Arsenal's 3-1 win over Burnley.
