"Legislative Representatives" recommends increasing the budget of the House of Ifta and judicial bodies 15%

The Committee on Constitutional and Legislative Affairs of the House of Representatives, during a meeting on Wednesday under the chairmanship of Counsel Bahaa Abu Shata, increase the budget allocated to the judicial bodies and the House of Ifta 15% for the fiscal year 2019/2020 compared to the budget last fiscal year.

The Committee has approved the budget of the Egyptian Fatwa House for the fiscal year 2019/2020, which includes the allocation of 55 million pounds for the first section on wages, 25 million pounds for the second section (purchase of goods and services), and 6 million pounds for the fourth section of support and grants, In the allocation of 10%, the committee recommended to raise it to 15%.

The Committee also approved the budget of the judicial bodies, including the Supreme Constitutional Court, the Council of State, the International Affairs Commission, the Administrative Prosecution and the Public Prosecution, recommending an increase of 15% over the budget of the previous fiscal year. In this context, the Chairman of the Committee stressed that the recommendation for the increase comes within the framework of the constitutional principle of equality and non-discrimination.
