Khaled Mery: Meeting of "Arab journalists" will discuss the situation of members in Libya and Algeria
The Secretary-General of the Union of Arab Journalists and Editor-in-Chief of the Al-Akhbar newspaper, Khaled Mery, welcomed participants to the meeting of the General Secretariat of the Union of Arab Journalists held at the headquarters of the Federation in Cairo, adding that the meeting comes to ratify the minutes of the previous Secretariat meeting.
Mery said in a speech at the beginning of the meeting that the meeting was to discuss the situation of journalists in Libya and Algeria, discuss the report of the activity presented by the Secretary General, discuss the financial report submitted by Nasser Abu Bakr, the financial secretary, and approve the minutes of the last meeting.
The Arab Journalists 'Union is scheduled to organize a dinner for the General Secretariat and the Arab journalists' meetings in the evening.
