Installation of solar power stations for local units in Farafra at a cost of LE 412 thousand
Eng. Ahmed Hussein, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Housing in the New Valley, said that the installation of solar power plant panels in the local unit of Al-Farafra city center is currently being completed as part of the implementation of the conservation plan using solar energy for lighting and electricity generation as one of the most important sources of clean energy for 10 kilowatt.
A total of 3 solar power plants with a capacity of 15 kW are also being installed for the local rural units in Kifah Al Kifah, Al Kheira, Al-Kheir and Al-Nahda Villages, at a cost of LE 247 thousand, at a capacity of 5 kW per station.
He stressed that this comes within the framework of the directives of Major General Mohamed Zamlout Governor of the New Valley to expand the use of solar energy in the province and to exploit the natural components that God loved them, including the province's largest brightness of the sun in the world, which in turn will contribute to the success and dissemination of the project to run solar energy In all fields.
