"Health Parliament" calls for an increase in credits for university hospitals by 2 billion

Dr. Inas Abdel Halim, the undersecretary of the Health Affairs Committee of the House of Representatives, called for supporting the budget of the university hospitals and increasing their allocations by 2 billion pounds to help them provide their needs to provide a good health service to the patients.
This came during a meeting of the Health Affairs Committee of the House of Representatives on Monday, headed by Deputy Inas Abdel Halim, the committee's deputy, to present the final recommendations of the Committee on the draft budget and economic and social development plan for the fiscal year 2019/2020, on the health and population sectors.
The representative of the committee pointed out that there is a need to support the directorates of health affairs in the areas of nutrition, maintenance, security and hygiene, pointing out that the representatives of the health directorates confirmed to the committee that the directorates have debts due to nutrition and maintenance and also called for increased funds to replace and renovate hospitals and to develop and replace health units.
