Facebook wants to know your close friends .. Learn why

science and technology

Facebook is making another change to the way publications appear in the Newsweek, as part of a broader shift towards improving the quality of time users spend on the site, adding that it will begin to prioritize the publication of publications from people with whom the user has close relationships.

According to the Daily Mail website, Facebook also said it would be interested in links that the user might consider more important, and the update would help improve the NewZide algorithm better with the content it considers more relevant to your life.

This does not mean that the Newsweek will be limited to participation from just a few people, nor does it necessarily mean you will see more friends' content, the company said in a blog post today.

"Instead, you'll probably see posts from those with whom you have close ties to the top of Newswed," the company said.

In the run-up to the change, Facebook was scanning users to determine who was closest to them in their friends lists and the content they preferred to see.

"These direct observations help us better predict the friends you might want to hear from," Facebook said.

It also tracks users who are "crowned" with photos, or interact more closely with each other on the site.
