At the beginning of the meeting, the Deputy Minister thanked the New Zealand Ambassador for the technical support provided by the New Zealand Ministry of Initial Industries to Egypt in the field of developing the massacres in Egypt through the implementation of a training program for a number of specialized veterinarians in the field of massacres in New Zealand and Egypt. The Deputy Minister added that the New Zealand side presented a proposal to hold a workshop on Applied Epidemiology and Biosecurity in farms in Cairo, in which veterinarians from Egypt and neighboring countries, both governmental and private sectors, as well as specialized experts from New Zealand, FAO, Preparation of a program to control transboundary diseases and develop veterinary services.
