Alexandria Solidarity signs a cooperation protocol for the development of children's nurseries

On Friday, Alexandria signed the second cooperation protocol between the Directorate of Social Solidarity in Alexandria and the Society for the Future of Family and Environment Development in order to develop nurseries in accordance with the quality standards of nurseries. The development includes building the capacity of facilitators working in nurseries within the framework of the National Program for Early Childhood Development.
The Directorate of Social Solidarity in Alexandria signed the first cooperation protocol with the Association for the Improvement of the Status of Women and Children and the partner associations in mid-May.
Reda Metwally, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Social Solidarity in Alexandria, pointed out that the protocol comes within the framework of the National Program for Early Childhood Development, in order to develop nurseries in accordance with the standards of quality nurseries developed by the Ministry of Social Solidarity.
The Undersecretary of the Ministry confirmed the periodic inspection of children's nurseries to ensure the quality standards, while working on closing the nurseries that are not licensed in Alexandria.
The signing of the protocol was attended by the director of the Social Solidarity Directorate in Alexandria, the deputy directorate, directors of family and childhood departments, associations in the directorate, directors of the East and Montazah administrations, specialists working in this field and some of the NGOs in Alexandria Governorate.
It is noteworthy that the Directorate of Solidarity in Alexandria has closed more than 400 kindergartens, did not get the license necessary for employment during the last five years.
