A former Brotherhood leader calls for the creation of a stream that frees minds to end the Muslim Brotherhood epidemic

Ibrahim Rabie, a former leader of the Muslim Brotherhood, called for the creation of an alternative movement that would free Egyptian minds in order to eliminate the ideology of the radical and far-reaching Muslim Brotherhood.

In an exclusive statement, Rabie said, "If we want to get rid of the Muslim Brotherhood epidemic, and we want progress, preparation and building, we must create an alternative stream to free the mind and conscience of the Egyptian society from the occupation of the Brotherhood and to remove the effects of this occupation and rebuild what was destroyed by the organization of atonement and "He said.

He added: "The Brotherhood has made their current incursion into society through cumulative practices over decades, and the exploitation of mosques and youth centers, schools and universities."

"The elimination of them can only be done by creating an alternative stream on the basis of the religious and national identity of Egyptian society, and using the same mechanisms (mosque, church, youth centers, schools, universities) with the mechanisms of other state institutions."

He continued: "Brotherhood movement has been the formation of its organizational doctrine on racism and sectarian strife and contempt for the other, while the trend that we call for its establishment is based on citizenship and coexistence and acceptance of the other."
