"Veterinary Services" sets out new procedures to counter the sale of counterfeit vaccines
The new measures taken by the General Authority for Veterinary Services to address the sale of vaccines and prohibited and adulterated drugs that pose a threat to livestock are being published for "Day Seven".
– intensive control campaigns on the sale and circulation of veterinary medicines and vaccines and veterinary clinics.

– Circulating a publication of veterinary services to the directorates of veterinary medicine in the governorates by licensing all vaccine sales centers.
– Closed outlets for the sale of drugs and vaccines not licensed.
– The participation of local and imported vaccine companies in supporting the system to ensure that their products of vaccines are in good condition for breeders to ensure the effectiveness of immunization in field conditions.
– Establishment of a mechanism for monitoring, tracking and storage of vaccines.
– Review the cold chain of vaccines to ensure that they reach the breeders in good condition.
– Evaluate vaccines and their efficiency in the field annually based on the results of monitoring and control.
– Follow up the vaccine distribution pipeline and take samples to ensure effectiveness.
– Taking samples of domestic herds that have been vaccinated to follow up her immune level.
