The 6th edition of the Cairo Biennial Awards

The Fine Arts Sector is organizing the thirteenth session of the Cairo International Biennale titled "Towards the East" after a stoppage of more than 8 years, with the participation of 80 artists from 50 countries where the works of the Palais des Arts, the Museum of Modern Egyptian Art, June 10 until August 10 next.
Artist Ihab Al Labban, Qumasir Al Binali, said that the Biennale awards 6 prizes, the Greater Nile Prize worth LE 250,000 and the Biennale prizes of 5 each worth LE 150,000.
The Biennale is due to stop after 8 years' delay. This comes in the context of striving for the return of the suspended international events, which will confirm Egypt's cultural role and leadership, which has been one of the most important and influential pillars at the regional and international levels.
The current session is hosted in three sites belonging to the Fine Arts Sector, Arts Palace, Art Complex, Aisha Fahmy Palace and Museum of Modern Egyptian Art.
