MP Sherif al-Wardani, secretary of the Human Rights Committee of the House of Representatives, said that the committee will continue its field visits to prisons, police departments and care homes in the wake of the Eid, in addition to the visits it has conducted throughout the current session.

Al-Wardani added that the committee is keen to inspect the prisons and police departments in addition to the role of care in a regular manner and in different governorates of the Republic. He pointed out that from the visit, prisoners or detainees confirmed their good treatment and no one complained of ill-treatment or exposure to human rights violations.

Al-Wardani added that the testimonies of detainees and prisoners are the strongest proof of the falsehood of the alleged organizations, which are called in their reports, which has no truth on the ground, pointing out that the committee will prepare a consolidated report on its visit and the certificates that have been monitored and will be translated into foreign languages.
