Real Madrid take advantage of Champions League final to join Erickson
Real Madrid president Florentino Perez held a meeting with Tottenham president Daniel Levy on Friday in the Spanish capital Madrid to negotiate the signing of midfielder Christian Eriksen of the London club this summer.
Tottenham had lost to Liverpool 2-0 on Saturday in the Champions League final at Wande Metropolitano, the stronghold of Atletico Madrid.
The Spanish newspaper As reported that the president of Real Madrid met with Levy to resolve the Danish transfer of Christian Eriksen to the king, and the first offer of 70 million euros to join the star of the center of the Spurs.
The paper said that negotiations between Peres and Levy did not take on a serious nature because of Real's poor offer to complete the deal.
Florentino Perez and Daniel Levey are Real Madrid and Tottenham Hotspur, after negotiations over the past years for Croatian Luka Modric and Walesa Gareth Bell.
He is one of the toughest presidents in the negotiations for the players, with Real Madrid forced to pay around 150 million euros for Modric in 2012 and Bell in 2013.
