A number of Fathers of the Alexandria Churches congratulated the leaders of the different neighborhoods in a warm and loving atmosphere.

Major-General Hisham Kamal, head of the West district, received a delegation from the Church of Mary Gerges in Ghayat Al-Anab, on Thursday, and includes Rev. Daoud Boutros, the Rev. Angelos Labib and Oujdi Najib.

General Hisham Kamal welcomed the delegation, adding that his congratulations and his presence reflects the spirit of love and harmony between the people of this country. He said that the Egyptians, when they meet together on religious and national holidays, provide the world with the meanings of peace and coexistence.

He stressed that all Egyptians are one national fabric, and no one can differentiate between them or lose their unity and cohesion to preserve this great country and its capabilities. Egypt is a unique example of national unity, consolidation of the foundations of coexistence and belief in equal citizenship in rights and duties.

On the other hand, Eng. Sahar Shaaban, head of Al-Gomrok district, received a delegation from St. Catherine's Cathedral in her office in the district office to receive congratulations on the occasion of Eid al-Fitr.

Father Eid Nadhmi and Father Antonios Abu Al-Khair expressed their sincere congratulations to all citizens and employees of Al-Gomrok neighborhood under the leadership of Engineer Sahar Shaaban, who wished the peace and stability of our dear homeland and sincere thanks to the Mayor of Al-Gomrok neighborhood for their continuous support to all citizens of the neighborhood.
