Fast food consumption increases the risk of allergies in children
A team of Italian researchers found that high consumption of junk food, such as fast food or microwaved foods and grilled meats, may be responsible for food allergies in children.
The study, presented at the 52nd annual meeting of the European Society of Gastroenterology, Liver and Nutrition in Children, in Naples, Italy, showed that high levels of sugary nutrients are linked to food allergies in children and are known to play a role in the development of various oxidizing diseases including Diabetes, arteriosclerosis and neurological disorders.
