"World Telecommunication and Information Society Day"
The world will be preparing next Friday [May 17th] to celebrate World Telecommunication and Information Society Day, coinciding with the World Information Society Day and World Telecommunication Day.
World Telecommunication Day
Is a celebration held every year beginning in 1968, sponsored by the International Telecommunication Union, which marks the anniversary of the conclusion of the First Telegraphic Convention and the establishment of the International Telecommunication Union, which was considered today as the World Telecommunication Day, while ITU is recognized as the recognized organization of The United Nations and the United Nations are responsible for organizing communications operations at the global level between multiple departments and information interests.
World Telecommunication Day goal
The aim of the World Telecommunication and Information Society Day is to raise awareness of the potential of the Internet and other IT tools in building bridges between societies and economies.
