There is a set of deterrents in the new traffic law, each of which falls under a certain category, through which a financial penalty and imprisonment of violators of the rules, including:
– A violation exceeding the prescribed speed of more than 50 kilometers per hour on the roads.
Article 79 of the law stipulates that the violations of the fourth tranche punish the offender by deduction of 4 points, imprisonment for a period not exceeding three months, a fine of not less than two thousand pounds, and not more than 4,000 pounds or one of them.

The offense falls under the third tranche, during which 3 points are deducted if they are committed, imprisonment for a period not exceeding one month, a fine of not less than 500 pounds and not more than one thousand pounds or one of them.
