Major General Hossam Hamada, Director of Seasonal Terminal Building at Cairo Airport, said that the terminal receives 10,000 passers-by every day in the travel and arrival stages, on board Egypt Air Airlines.

Major General Hossam Hamadeh said in a press statement that the seasonal hall is witnessing a high operational intensity during the current period to complete the travel procedures and the arrival of about 10 thousand passers a day, including 5 thousand passengers to perform the rituals and the same coming from Saudi Arabia on the air bridge organized by EgyptAir to transfer 100 thousand Mu'tamar during the holy month of Ramadan.

He stressed that the seasonal hall witnessed a continuous development during the last period, which contributed to the increase in capacity. It also witnessed great facilities for the passengers of the pilgrims, stressing that the Cairo Port Company manages the termination of the travel and arrival of pilgrims and reception at the airport through the teams coordinators, Especially the elderly and sick, and to overcome any obstacles and solve all problems that may occur during the course of air traffic and passengers during the stage of travel and arrival of pilgrims.

He pointed out that there is a 24-hour operating room to find immediate solutions to all problems and obstacles that may arise during Umrah trips, follow-up schedules and problems that may arise and work on the development of immediate solutions.
