The implementation of the project of planting trees Jojoba on an area of 2500 acres in the New Valley
The New Valley Governorate has announced the start of a giant investment project to cultivate varieties of rare plants to be cultivated on sewage water, especially the Jojoba plant to produce aircraft engine oils, which are the most expensive oils in the world.
The province said in a statement that the project has been started on an area of 2500 acres on the Baghdad-Luxor road to grow Jojoba plant, which enters into many industries such as cosmetics and poultry feed as well as pharmaceutical formulations.
Dr. Mohsen Abdel Wahab, director of the Agricultural Research Station, said that the nature of the soil and the climatic conditions that characterize the new valley are among the most important factors that contributed to the success of scientific research to plant plants for the production of biofuels because these plants bear the high temperature and high salinity and are irrigated with sewage water And generate high financial income due to their high economic importance.
