The local unit of the Farafra Center announced on Thursday the implementation of an investment project for the cultivation of palm trees on an area of ​​5720 acres.

The head of the local unit of Al-Farafra city, Maj. Gen. Mohammed Al-Faham said in a statement that the project aims to reclaim and cultivate a plot of land in the village of Abu Hurayrah of the Center, after the completion of all legal procedures.

Al-Faham added that the project will serve the agricultural development process and provide employment opportunities for young people. He pointed out that the governorate has natural elements and possibilities that can attract various investments on its land.
