Supplying 86% of the target wheat season for Silwan and Shoun Governorate
Mr. Al-Sabahi, the deputy director of the Supply Directorate in Al-Qalioubia, announced the supply of 91173 tons and 875 kilos of wheat within a month from the start of the harvest till now, by 86%, pointing out that this year's target of 106 thousand tons is to be supplied to Silos, .
Al-Sabahi pointed out that a committee has been set up in each province headed by an inspector who includes representatives of the Export and Import Authority, Agriculture, the marketing and tribal authorities, and the Secretary of the Shouneh for weight weighing and determining the degree of cleanliness and the payment of value within 48 hours to farmers.
Al-Sabahi said that the storage capacity of silos, shun, hangar and bunker in the governorate has been increased to reach 212 thousand tons after entering the new silos in the Arabian Gulf with a storage capacity of 90 thousand tons. He pointed out that the wheat receiving places in the governorate are " , Banha Flour Mill, Banha Silos, a subsidiary of the Holding Company for Food Industries as a marketing agency, Henger Shablenga, Henger Shebin Al Qanater, Hengar Kafr Shukr and Shouna Kafrasad Beheiry, affiliated to the Agricultural Development and Credit Bank.
For his part, Dr. Alaa Abdul-Halim Marzouq, Governor of Qalioubiyah, stressed that it was necessary to facilitate the farmers and traders and to organize the delivery of the gourds in a systematic and quick way to alleviate the burden of farmers and not wait for them in front of the Shun.
