Sufism and violence .. A new book about the Foundation of believers without borders
In a book by Sufis Sufism, entitled "Sufism and Violence" by a group of researchers under the supervision of Saber Suissi, the question is: Can the violence come from the Sufis, who are known for their vision of existence through love?
The book attempts to answer questions such as: How can the Sufis commit violence against the other, and they often first practice violence against themselves in spiritual activities and psychological trials, so that the soul will not fight its longing for serenity? Is the defense of the country and the preservation of slaves a form of violence that is not permissible for the deceased? How can violence be a way to strengthen and support love? How can love be a motive for violence and a justification for it? Can love be a solution to confront and avoid violence? Is it possible, therefore, to conceive today to be a bastion of extremism, violence, hatred and intolerance, and a culture of tolerance, communication and love? Despite the fact that Sufism originally opposes violence, terrorism and extremism, embraces a culture of tolerance and mercy, believes in diversity and requires coexistence and communication between faiths and religions, the phenomenon of reverence for the patriarchs and the Salafis is stored in fear of many sacred or symbolic remnants of violence. . But Sufism, in its focus on the idea of love, offers alternatives to man today that will reassure him, reassure him, and make him more upright, tolerant, and compassionate. In his worship he serves not only himself but serves humanity and bears witness to the divine truth. This book tried to monitor the phenomenon of violence in Sufism, and raised many questions and problems, which addressed the researchers participating in the book with a wide knowledge and great ability.
