"State issues" revives the state treasury by 1.6 million pounds

The State Cases Authority, headed by Counselor Hussain Abdu Khalil, received an important ruling from the Administrative Court of Menia on March 26, 2007, in the case No. 13738 for the year 7 s, issued by the Minister of Finance in his capacity against the legal representative of an industrial company for the development of Upper Egypt. "The facts of the case are due to the plaintiff company in the importation of quantities of fabrics for the purpose of manufacturing and re-export the system of temporary release, but it violated the customs law that it acted in the covered certificates instead of the return," said Mohamed Abdel Latif, deputy chairman of the General Secretariat. Manufactured and exported without paying the required customs tax.

The State Crimes Commission set up the case against the company on behalf of the Minister of Finance to claim the amounts owed by the company. On March 26, the court ordered the company to pay the sum of 1 million, 611 thousand and 324 pounds for the state on the basis of the documents and defense memoranda.

This comes within the framework of the keenness of the State Affairs Committee under the chairmanship of Counselor Hussein Abdo Khalil, President of the Commission, to preserve the right and public money of the Egyptian State and its legal responsibility for the State while raising or prosecuting it at home and abroad in accordance with its constitutional and legal responsibilities.
