Source of oil: pumping about 500 million liters of gasoline since the beginning of the month of Ramadan

An official source in the oil sector said that about 500 million liters of gasoline have been pumped, including petrol from the beginning of Ramadan until now.

According to informed sources, in previous statements to the "seventh day" that the rates of pumping gasoline during Eid al-Fitr will increase by 30% from natural pumping rates and 15% from the pumping rates during the holy month of Ramadan.

The sources added that the Ministry of Petroleum continues to pump petroleum products within its plan for the month of Ramadan, an increase of 15% to 20% as well as readiness to cover the needs of the local market during the Eid al-Fitr.

The Ministry of Petroleum and Mineral Resources has set up follow-up chambers with the General Petroleum Authority and marketing companies for petroleum products and warehouses during the holy month of Ramadan and during the Eid al-Fitr days, where a daily report is presented to the Ministry of Petroleum and Mineral Resources.
