The Museum of Islamic Art in Cairo is the largest museum of Islamic art in the world. It contains more than 100 masterpieces covering all branches of Islamic art in all ages. Its artistic collections are rich in quantity and quality.

Under the stone section, displays a "round masterpiece of marble, Egypt – Mamluk era 8th century – 14 AD

The masterpiece is a central circle with six concentric circles. These circles are formed by branches of plants ending in the center with flowers and five petals. The masterpiece was transferred to the Museum of Islamic Art from Prince Sarghtamesh School, one of the princes of Sultan al-Nasir Muhammad ibn Qalawun. / 1356 AD.

The decoration was chosen in the middle of the masterpiece as a logo of the Museum of Islamic Art in Cairo since 2010.

The museum's artworks are rich in richness. Among the most important items are artifacts of textiles, carpets, stones, ivory, ceramics, wood, metals, glass, manuscripts, coins, ornaments and weapons.
